Made in the style of vintage Marx, full color box top with white box bottom. I believe Marx intended to create a Mingo figure to compliment their stiff legged Daniel Boone but it did not make it into production. The head sculpt of actor Ed Ames was then used the vintage Chief Cherokee figure. This is a tribute box for Mingo, the Chief of the Cherokees, Box lists all of the Indian accessories in the same way that they may have done it!
